Description
ACS712 Hall Effect Current Sensor Module
The ACS712 Current Sensor Module is a precision Hall-effect current sensing module based on the Allegro ACS712 sensor IC. It accurately measures both AC and DC current while providing electrical isolation between the high-current circuit and the low-voltage control circuitry, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
The module outputs an analog voltage proportional to the measured current, allowing easy interfacing with popular microcontrollers such as Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266, STM32, Raspberry Pi, and other embedded platforms.
Available in ±5A, ±20A, and ±30A variants, the ACS712 is suitable for a wide range of applications including power monitoring, battery management systems (BMS), motor control, solar energy systems, overcurrent protection, industrial automation, and IoT projects.
Its compact through-hole module design, fast response time, low noise, and high accuracy make it an excellent choice for embedded developers, hobbyists, and industrial engineers.
